Every morning when I walk into my ceramic studio, I feel happy and inspired.

The chickens have been up for a long time chattering around looking for the best grain.

I see the sun reflecting in the dewy grass and the wind whistling in the treetops.
I can hardly imagine a better way to begin the day as in my atelier.

Here I have worked with the clay through many years. It is the large ceramic shapes that for me is the challenge.

With my own procedure and technique (the tadpole) the shape slowly forms up.
I focus on the form, – the texture, the structure.
For me the most important is to see that the hands and the tools have worked up the surface.
I make an effort to be able to let my ceramic work stand alone, so it is able to give others a sensation – an experience.
